Man killed during Trump shooting dived on family to protect them

A bystander who tried to protect his family was killed in an attack on Donald Trump on Saturday, authorities said.
Corey Comperatore, a 50-year-old volunteer firefighter, collapsed on top of family members when the gun went off.
"Corey dies a hero," Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said at a news conference on Sunday. The other two people who were shot were  David Dutch, 57, and  James Copenhaver, 74, according to Pennsylvania State Police . Both were in good condition on Sunday.
The governor of Pennsylvania  said that he and his wife Mr. Comperatore talked to  two women.
"Corey goes to church every Sunday," she said. "Cory loved his country. Corey loved his family especially."
He said that Mr. Comperatore is a big fan of Donald Trump and is excited to be attending Saturday's rally.
“Corey is our best. May his memory be a blessing," Mr. Shapiro said. "Last night was a terrible thing ... political disputes cannot be resolved with force." State Police
  said Mr. Comperatore lives in Sarver, the about 12 miles (19 km) from Butler Rally, outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. plastic manufacturing company, according to his social media page.
"He's a good person," neighbor Matt Achilles told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review that didn't stop him from being a good friend and neighbor."
"He gave us money  when I was in the hospital and often came to market in our yard. "He was waving every time I passed his house," Mr. Achilles said.
Mr. Shapiro said  he spoke with the family of one of the victims, but declined to elaborate on the conversation.
